There is an open plan living room, dining room and kitchen with a top of the range double bed settee; as well as a shower room. The apartment is also all electric with cooking by portable double ring hob and a small grill/oven. You can also make use of the fridge, microwave, washing machine, television and DVD player with bed linen and towels provided. Of course there's much more to this holiday home that just the property itself, although it is located on the grounds of the owner's home with secluded gardens and a sheltered seating area. However, eventually you'll want to get out and about and you'll find that Friockheim is in the perfect position to explore the coast thanks to its pretty and charming old angling villages including Auchmithie and Gourdon as well as the miles of golden sands at St Cyrus and Lunan Bay. You'll also be close to some of Scotland's most popular seaside towns including Arbroath and Montrose; while you are also within a few miles of Brechin with its magnificent cathedral; and the lively town of Forfar. The entire area is also steeped in history with many National Trust properties to discover such as stately homes and ancient monuments. You could also go for a delightful walk, enjoy the local nature reserves or head to the golf course.
