B&B Description
Guests to Loch Lomond choose Arrochar for its spectacular views and central position. The thriving village of Arrochar nestles on the shores of Loch Long with the majestic Arrochar Alps in the background yet just 40 minutes from Glasgow. Fascadail House was built in the mid 19th century around 170 years ago. It is set in its own grounds enjoying wonderful loch and mountain views as well as the craggy Ben Arthur (The Cobbler). To try and help maintain this amazing surroundings we are part of the Green Tourism Business scheme. Whenever possible we purchase from local producers and try to plan our car usage. The garden is wildlife welcoming and we grow our own vegetables fruit and flowers. Steeped in history with many walks and hill climbs close by Glen Douglas Ben Arthur and miles of forest trails through the picturesque Arrochar Alps withinveraray Loch Lomond and Loch Fyne only a short drive away. Fascadail is a ideal base for touring cycling walking climbing golf and sight seeing as well as visits to National Trust gardens.

From the South head up the A82 past Loch Lomond. At Tarbet go straight on onto the A83. After 1.5 miles you are in Arrochar. Take the left turning A814 towards Helensburgh. We are .5 miles on the left hand side - take the turning immediately before the Church. |
