You start your holiday from Bridge boat yard from the extremely heart of the tranquil and pretty Fenland waterways - the fleet is based in Ely overlooked by its magnificent and world-famous cathedral.

The varied choice of well-fitted and laid out boats sleep from two to six people and the range includes a traditional narrowboat as well as the racier sports cruiser style.

A very relaxing way to spend a week! The boatyard staff were very kind and helpful, and provided excellent instructions and advice. Even though the weather wasn't that great, this didn't matter, we still had lots of fun and felt comfortable and safe. We even got engaged on the boat! We hadnt been on a boating holiday in over 10 years, but soon got back into the swing of it. The boatyard staff were very helpful. We set off and within a few hours felt like we'd been away for days, it is such a relaxing way of life. We took our 2 dogs with us and they had a great time, the weather was typically British but it didnt stop us at all from enjoying every minute.
