Devon is a large county in the south-west of England which uniquely has two coastlines one on the English Channel the other on the Irish Sea and Bristol Channel. It has many coastal resorts and historic cities and due to its relatively mild climate the area of coast around Torquay, Brixham and Paignton is known as the English Riviera.
