Guernsey is 25 square miles in size and consists of two geographical regions, the Haut Pas (high southern plateau) and the Bas Pas (low-lying and sandy northern region). Alderney is the third largest of the Channel Islands just three and a half miles long by one and a half miles wide. It is rich in flora and fauna, has a temperate climate with beautiful beaches and wildlife to see.
