Monmouthshire is another stunning place for a boating holiday, the Brecon Canal will take you through the picturesque Brecon Beacons National Park an area of stunning natural beauty. Along the way you will find numerous town and villages and some wonderful market towns. This canal has a lockless stretch of over 22 miles. The canal side offers many restaurants and public houses and along the way an marvellous aqueduct over the River Usk as well a tunnel and you will encounter about 5 lift bridges and a handful of locks and is an ideal place for a boating holiday.
