Guildford Emperor boat comprises of a Newly refurbished for 2009, Semi-traditional stern, Extra large front cockpit and 2 sit down hip bath/showers, the boat is available from Guildford Boat House Boatyard at Guildford Surrey.

For over 30 years the Chase family has been offering a warm greeting and a personal service from their base in the heart of Guildford - convenient for cruising the River Wey River Thames Basingstoke Canal and even the Kennet and Avon Canal.

Their experience and skill means you can be sure of well appointed and well maintained boats. If you are a first time cruiser you might like the idea of cruising on the River Wey. The route from Guildford down to Weybridge has just ten self operating locks which means by the time you reach the River Thames area you will be feeling more confident in getting through the locks as you continue on your holiday afloat.

If you dont wish to take your car Guildford Boathouse is situated less than a mile from the Railway station where taxis are readily available.

I would happily recommend the Guildford boatyard and cruising on the River Wey.Even though our boat wasn't their most modern it was a joy to steer and had everything we needed. To all friends and family. The boatyard was very friendly and relaxed. They gave a good welcome kit on the boat to aid the husbandry of items. The scenery of the River Wey was fantastic including the wildlife. Green parrots included!! The Thames gave a different approach but very interesting.
