Guildford Boat House has been offering a warm greeting and a personal service for over thirty years. Located in the heart of Guildford, well-situated for cruising the Basingstoke Canal, River Wey and Thames and even the Kennet and Avon Canal. The Hawthorn is a well equipped and well maintained boat featuring an enclosed semi traditional rear cockpit with extra seating, a permanent double bed and two permanent singles that can be left made up, two shower rooms one with a hipbath. If you do not wish to take your car Guildford Boathouse is located less than a mile from the Railway station where taxis are readily available.
If you are a first-time cruiser you might like the idea of starting of cruising on the River Wey down to Weybridge as it only has ten self operating locks before you reach the River Thames area.

Guildford Boathouse is an excellent boatyard and the River Wey is a most interesting area to cruise. We have done several different canal holidays and this was the best one yet.
