For over 30 years the Chase family has been offering a warm greeting and a personal service from their base in the heart of Guildford - convenient for cruising the River Wey River Thames Basingstoke Canal and even the Kennet and Avon Canal.

Their experience and skill means you can be sure of well appointed and well maintained boats. If you are a first time cruiser you might like the idea of cruising on the River Wey. The route from Guildford down to Weybridge has just ten self operating locks which means by the time you reach the River Thames area you will be feeling more confident in getting through the locks as you continue on your holiday afloat.

If you dont wish to take your car Guildford Boathouse is situated less than a mile from the Railway station where taxis are readily available.

The team at Guildford were not only helpful but very friendly and the way the children were explained to and listened to was spot on, they really got the holiday off to a great start and we loved that the briefing was adapted to not just our experience but to our needs and interests as well - treated as individuals, thank you. The equipment and layout of the boat was also first rate - better kitchen resources than most 4* holiday cottages!
