An indoor swimming pool means that you can enjoy a swim no matter what the weather with floats and inflatables making sure your time spent in the pool is as fun as possible. Plus the organized 5 a side football and basketball sessions allow the kids to get involved in sport as well as keeping them active. The Boathouse bar and restaurant are a superb option for having a family meal together or just enjoying a chill out drink with your partner and kids. Plus the Food Choice Café and Takeaway gives you another alternative for your eating needs. Spark's Kiosk also has everything you might need for your stay at a handy convenience. They come in three grades of bronze, silver and gold with free gas and electricity for each grade. Whitley Bay Holiday Park's close proximity to Newcastle and Gateshead means it is within easy reach of a major social hub of the north east. Amazing shopping can be had at the Metro Centre in Gateshead whilst the nightlife of Newcastle is famous across Europe. There is also Smugglers' Caves at Cullercoats for you to sample some of the north east's more interesting heritage. St. Mary's Lighthouse and Whitley Bay ice rink also give you plenty to occupy yourself with off the park in an area that has a lot to offer.
