These creatively converted courtyard cottages that were originally built in 1856 as the stables to Panbride House are only a mile from sandy beaches and Carnousties championship golf course.

Grooms Bothy Cottage has an open plan living area, well equipped kitchen area with breakfast section, bathroom with shower over the bath. On the first floor is a double bedroom and twin bedroom.

Making for an ideal holiday base the cottage is accessed through a gravel courtyard, they now provide guests with very comfortably furnished self catering accommodation. Free entry to an indoor swimming pool and other facilities of the remarkable health club and physiotherapy centre next door.

The ancient port of Arbroath is only six miles away and the city of Dundee is only eleven miles away. Glamis Castle and the House of Dun are both well worth a day visit as is Montrose Basin Nature Reserve.
