Beautiful and cosy cottage. We had a peaceful and relaxing break and would definitely recommend to others. Lovely food next door and the bar maid even walked the dog to give us some peace to eat.

Such a fantastic little cottage, great for a romantic weekend break, location and views superb as was the drive to it, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in this awesome little hideaway, local pub next door, food was fresh, local caught seafood, cooked perfect with very friendly local islanders. cottage has everything you need so don't over pack with hairdryer or towels etc. A perfect little find!

Absolutely fantastic cottage. The location is amazing (assuming you are looking for peace and quiet). The property is stunning from both the outside and inside. The cottage has a traditional feel but with all the mod cons you would expect- 42" LCD TV, DVD, Sky TV, Stereo system with iPod docking station, fully equipped kitchen, electric blankets (brilliant), etc........The terrace at the back of the property looks out onto Easdale Island and onto the Atlantic Ocean. The weather was fantastic when we were there and we sat on the terrace with a good book and a glass of wine, taking in the sunshine and gentle sound of the waves on the shore line. Wonderful. The chocolates and the wine were a welcome gift on arrival. The property is located next door to the local Bar and Restaurant. Although in close proximity, we never once heard a whisper coming from it, even though it was busy at times. We spent a lot of time walking in the hills whilst on Seil. The walks and the views are great. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable long weekend in Ellensbeagh. Hopefully we will be back sometime.Recommended to all.

Don't let the lack of an exterior photo put you off - this cottage is 'picture postcard cute', and just what we hoped for from a holiday cottage. The small quirky frontage opens into a very well refurbished and extended property which has been finished with quality in mind. Lots of thought has gone into the contents and it is very comfortable. It's next to a small pub/restaurant but we couldn't hear a thing as the walls are thick, and we loved being able to pop next door for a meal or a drink. The village itself is a lovely warm community which accepts the holidaymaker with ease and the area is pretty. The slate landcsape is as fascinating historically as it is stunning. The little ferry to Easdale island next door is great fun, or get in your car and visit the surrounding area. We loved the Isle of Mull and Inverary in particular - much recommended!

We have just returned from a lovely weeks break in the Old Brewery Cottage. On seeing the cottage on the website, expectations were high, and on arrival and we were not let down. We even got a nice bottle of wine and chocolates as a welcome. The cottage really is furnished to the highest of standards with everything you can think of supplied for the week. The locals are very very friendly, we even got asked if we wanted a lift by a very pleasant lady while we were walking to the shops! We will definitely recommend this cottage to friends and will revisit at some point. All in all a fab week!
