Get closer to the countryside with beautiful Saltcoats Cottage where you can experience life on a farmyard without the hard labour. This lovely hillside location overlooks fields and hedgerows to the sea with some magnificent panoramic views from the enclosed garden. However, the highlight of most visitors' stay is definitely experiencing life on a farm up close with free range chickens, farm animals, sheep, stud and livery horses all on the location with riding available for those with suitable levels of experience. The cottage itself is delightful too, forming part of a farm steading in a courtyard location. It has recently been upgraded and is spacious and well-appointed with rooms that are beautifully furnished with a tranquil, friendly atmosphere. There is one double bedroom with a luxurious king size bed, as well as a comfy lounge with double sofa bed and a wood-burning stove along with a sun room which itself offer spectacular views. The kitchen/dining room is wonderfully furnished, while the bathroom is ideal for couples with its whirlpool and shower. There are also a host of amenities too including an all-electric plus stove, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, a microwave, a television, a DVD player, a CD player and bed linen and towels. You won't have far to go to reach some attractive destinations either. The holiday resort of Saltcoats is just one mile away and is popular all year round with pubs, shops and recreation for all the family. The cottage is also close to the renowned golden breaches on the Ayrshire coast with golf courses and angling also in close reach. Tourists may also enjoy the Burns Heritage Trail to explore the picturesque glens and the magnificent mountains as well as ferry trips to Arran, Cumbrae and Rothesay.
