Twin bedded room. Bathroom with shower over bath. Set within the tranquil countryside of the Scottish borders and only half a mile from the village of Chirnside Whitehall Country Parks 130 acres provide a delightfully tranquil location for these four outstanding lodges. The Lodge enjoys delightful walking, wildlife watching (deer regularly visit the lodge gardens) and angling which is available free of charge on the Whiteadder River in season. The nature reserve and spectacular coastline of St Abbs Head are just a few miles away. Berwick-on-Tweed a historic town with remarkable Elizabethan ramparts and interesting Barracks Museum visitors will find a good selection of shops and restaurants as well as cinema and theatre. Mellerstain Floors Castle and Manderston are among the many fascinating stately homes with in easy reach. Shops and pubs serving food half mile. The Holy Island of Lindisfarne and Northumbrian Heritage coast with its glorious unspoilt beaches and castles to discover are a half hour drive whilst the countless number delights of Edinburgh one of the worlds exceptionalest and most stunning cities are only an hour away.
