Guests can roam the castles thirteen acres of woodlands, gardens and riverside walks where deer, red squirrels and badgers can be spotted. Spectacular cliff top walks, clean beaches, sea fishing, St Abbs Head nature reserve and charming villages can be explored nearby. Shops and pubs are in the village of Coldingham, three miles away lying on a sandy bay.

 This was the perfect spot for our holiday, the gardens were extremely safe, and should we have had children it would certainly allow you to have a stress free holiday. The local amenities provided us with everything we wanted and needed. We were forced to relax, which was the object of the exercise.
