With its sweeping views close to the harbour, Glenarm Detached Farmhouse is one of the most attractive spots for a holiday in Northern Ireland. The farmhouse itself is set on a quiet country lane in Glenarm village close to the picturesque Carnlough Harbour. Set in mature woodlands, the dwelling is 150 years old and ideal for all types of holidaymakers - from families looking for fun and adventure to couples looking for a romantic escape. Packed with amenities, Glenarm Detached Farmhouse has room for four and includes a lounge, kitchen/diner, a double bed, adult bunk and a bathroom with shower over the bath. Electricity and oil heating is included and there is also an open fire with starter pack. Linen and towels are provided, with a TV, radio, microwave, high chair, cot and barbeque also included. The garden itself is partially enclosed with a sitting out area. However, pets are not allowed. You'll enjoy venturing into the local area, particularly as the Glenarm Detached Farmhouse is just 2.5miles from Glenarm, one of the nine glens of Antrim that have been so regularly celebrated in song and verse. The Glenariff Forest Park is also close by with spectacular scenery while there are many quaint seaside villages that are worth visiting. Fishing and horse riding are also available in the area. You won't have to travel far to get to the shops or the pub either - both are around two miles away, ideal for an evening stroll. Trips to the beach take around five miles.
