This quaint terraced cottage is nestled amid four other refurbished cottages in Whitehead and can be found close to the peninsula of Islandmagee within close reach of both the eastern and northern coasts of Northern Ireland. This home away from home is blessed with traditional handmade touches. The charming sitting room includes a welcoming fire, while French doors open on to the sunny garden which includes a patio and decking area. It's a private retreat too as the garden is surrounded by tall hedges on either side. You won't have to travel far to see what the area has to offer. There is a shop around 1,300 yards away, with a pub and restaurant within one and a half miles. The beach meanwhile, is just a 2.6mile trek with the cottage proving a popular base for those wishing to take in some of Northern Ireland's most scenic areas including both the Eastern and Northern coasts, as well as the Antrim coastal drive to Giant's Causeway. Indeed there's plenty to keep you active around the area too with a children's playground just a mile away; a golf course within half a mile; and horse riding to enjoy around four miles away. A short drive will also take you to a local leisure centre and indoor pool. There's no shortage of amenities too at Whitehead Cottage. There is an off-road parking space outside the property and inside you can enjoy electricity and oil central heating; as well as a wood burner with starter pack; a high chair, a travel cot, a DVD player, radio, CD, fridge, microwave, dryer, TV and hairdryer. Linen and towels are also included and pets are welcome.
