Smugglers Den

Smugglers Den comprises of about fifteen steps to the entrance, kitchen, sitting/dining room with sofa bed (plus two), large double bedroom and bathroom with shower over the bath.

Smugglers Den is one of a complex of cottages that are wonderfully situated by the quayside only yards from yacht moorings. Beautiful apartments form part of the renovation of the original fishermens warehouses. The properties benefit from superb views across the harbour and sea. Set within a great spot for a relaxing break, the local pub serves fresh locally caught seafood and the entire area is famous for its outdoor activities.

Enjoy fishing on day trips out from the harbour, cycling along the quiet roads and paths and walking along the coast spotting wildlife and breathing in the fresh sea air.

Whisky enthusiasts are sure enjoy the tour at the nearby Bladnoch distillery and a drink or two. Wigtown is formally known as Scotlands National Book town it boasts over twenty book related businesses as well as a famous literary festival.
