The nearby coastal path offers holidaymakers excellent walks and the peninsulas beaches are clean. Nearby is the popular resort of Pwllheli (seven miles) is also a favorite with sailors and Criccieth (ten miles away) has a castle situated high on a rocky promontory overlooking Cardigan Bay. Within easy reach is Snowdonia, narrow gauge steam railway and Caernarfons magnificent castle.
