Just 5 mintues drive away visitors will find a host of attractions including Shakespeares birthplace the Royal Shakespeare Theatre canalside bars and restaurants and excellent shopping opportunities. Warwicks impressive castle National Trust properties and the myriad delights of Oxfordshire are also easily accessible.

Good value, easy to find, perfect location for visiting Stratford. Plenty of places of interest round and about and for anyone interested in stately homes and gardens several National Trust properties located nearby. The cottage was quiet, peaceful,in an excellent position for exploring the area and good for walking. The tennis court was a real treat and the owners were friendly. This break was a pleasant change from our usual Hoseasons booking (a more or less individual property, as apposed to a Park), so we found it a little more like home from home, although there were no convenient facilities near at hand like a shop or takeaway etc. Our next holiday this year will be back at a Park but we will certainly look at further breaks like this last one. I can't really fault this holiday. The cottage was perfect for our needs and we really enjoyed our nights in with a bottle of wine and home cooked meals! Stratford upon Avon is wonderful, it stole our hearts and we'll definitely go back. The cottage is within a 5 minute drive of the town centre, and all the local attractions can be reached easily on foot once you're in the town. An unforgetable experience!
