At Wester Lix we offer 3 self contained properties, each with its own unique character and style, and are each fully self contained to offer "real home" comfort and facilities.
From the Farm House offering stylish accommodation for groups or families of 4, to Jonnas Cottage (formerly Heather Cottage) suited to the larger family or medium sized groups of 6, and finally The Steading which is very popular with 2 families or larger groups of 8. They all offer similar comfort with oil fired central heating and double glazing, TV with Sky Digital plus DVD/Video on request, fully equipped kitchens and now each benefit from their own outdoor dining areas.
New for 2003, The Steading and Heather now have large private decking areas with dining furniture, and the Steading now has a large Sauna, just what you need after a hard days activity.
In all cottages children are most welcome. as are pets by arrangement.
We are situated just over 2 miles from the village of Killin, right in the center of the Dochart Forest. From the grounds one can access many local walks, some along former railway tracks one of which will take you into Killin itself, and others to local waterfalls or out onto open hillside. The local area forms part of The Loch Lommond and Trossachs National Park and is therefor protected from development.
