From Glasgow follow the M8 north taking the exit slip to the Erskin(Toll) Bridge (M898).Then follow the A82 to Tarbet on coming to Tarbet take the road to Arrocar The follow this road all the way to Inverrary.In Inverrary proceed under the Arch on the right of the Argyll Hotel and follow signs to Dalmally (A819). Approx 8 miles on seeing Loch Awe laid out before you proceed down the hill and almost at the bottom you will see a sign on the right hand side for Cladich (B840) Turn left into the single track road for approx half a mile then take the first and only left hand turn onto the southlochside road in the direction of Ford.Followthis road for approx 3 miles and you will come to Portsonachan Hotel.
