This is picture postcard Scotland. The area offers good touring on the quiet roads around Cowal Bute. Easy trips out the glen are ideal for exploring Loch Lomond, Inveraray, Dunoon, Tighnabruaich and the Isle of Bute. Boat and bike hire available nearby.The village hugs the shoreline at the north end of Loch Goil, a fjord type sea loch. A favourite pastime is sitting on the hotel patio enjoying a drink or meal and watching the boats on the loch or just the people coming and going in the village. This is a seriously relaxing location. Should you be looking for something a bit more energetic, there is plenty to do. Choose from a number of marked walking trails starting just minutes from the hotel which take you onto the hills and tracks above the village. The views are well worth the effort. You can have a drink in the bar as well as enjoy a meal in the restaurant. Most Friday nights throughout the year there is live entertainment in the bar. Rooms 4 twin and 1 single bedded rooms, all en-suite with a shower WC. Rooms were refurbished in 2006.
