Angus lies in the north east of Scotland. Its area in the north and west tends to be mountainous with the five Angus glens, the south and east with rolling hills more populated. The city of discovery, Dundee, where Scotts Antarctic exploration ship the RRS Discovery was built and now berthed in its harbour is the fourth largest city in Scotland.
