About Fife

Forth Road Bridge, Fife

Fife is an area in the East of Scotland commonly known as the Kingdom of Fife. Fife is a natural peninsular with Firth of Tay to the north, North Sea to the east and Firth of Forth to its south.

The historic town of St Andrews is on the east coast, home to Scotland's oldest university and the Royal and Ancient Golf Club known the world over as the home of Golf. Dunfermline is the ancient capital of Scotland with a beautiful abbey where Robert the Bruce is buried. Pittencreiff Park was donated to the town by one of its famous sons Andrew Carnegie and has a museum and several walks from which to explore this picturesque setting.
