With spectacular views of the renowned loch you can hunt for Nessie while you brush your teeth and its position two minutes from the village of Drumnadrochit and just thirteen miles from the City of Inverness makes exploring the Highlands of Scotland easy. The cottage will not disappoint either - Downstairs there is a large entrance hall with underfloor heating to keep your tootsies warm a living room with an open fire low wooden ceiling and restored stone walls a separate dining room with an extra sofa where you can avoid the telly and a kitchen with a dishwasher so no dishes to do on holiday!Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms both with large wide windows overlooking the loch there is a twin bedroom and a super-kingtwin bedroom (please advise us of your preference when booking) and a bathroom with a bath with an electric shower over it and the best seat in the house a loo with a view All oil and electric will be included in the rate and there will be a complimentary basket of logs and coal waiting for you. If possible we would be pleased to light the fire for your arrival only give us an idea of when you plan to get here. From Inverness take the A82 and drive down Loch Ness. After approx 12.5 miles take the Drumbuie turn off to the right and drive up the hill for approx 0.3 mile. Take the second track on the left marked Boxys Croft and follow the lane up the hill. Keep left and Boxys Croft will be obvious on your right. Please note the track is not suitable for low sports cars. |
