Apartment Description
The Seagulls Nest self catering apartment is adjoined to Carters Rest Guesthouse and is open all year round. All rooms are warm and comfy with self regulating heaters which make it an perfect place for winter breaks as well as summer. The apartment can be let for 1 night stays depending on season and availability. We regret that we are unable to accept dogs in the apartment. Children under ten years are just permitted from 1st November - 31st January. We do not have facilities for young children such as high chaircot etc therefore you will need to bring your own equipment. A JAYBE double sofa bed is located in the lounge making the apartment suitable for up to 4 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with hob oven washing machine fridge freezer microwave smoothie maker electric vegetable steamer and sandwichgrill machine. Washing up liquid dish cloth towel laundry products are included. The comfy lounge comprises of dining table and four chairs JAYBE sofa bed occasional table and lamp. We have recently added a laptop with free internet access 26 FSTV with DVD player. There is also a selection of maps-guide books-magazines. The bedroom has a double bed with a memory foam mattress a large built in double wardrobe and modern oak furniture and dressing table. The spacious bathroom is elegantly tiled and comprises of a bath with shower large heated towel rail hand basin toilet and razor point. Bed linen and towels are provided. Regardless of your starting location you will approach Kyle of Lochalsh on the A87. As you enter Kyle of Lochalsh the Skye Bridge is clearly signposted. Keep on the main road and go straight through the traffic lights in the centre of the town until you reach the bridge. Depending on weather and time you will get spectacular views from the bridge of Lochalsh the Islands of Scalpay Eilean Mor and Raasay.After crossing the bridge you will arrive at a small roundabout. Bear right and head for Broadford still on the A87. |
