Heatherwood Lodge is located in Totland Bay, a sought after area in West Wight. with in walking distance there are a small selection of shops and the stunning Totland Bay Beach. Right on the seafront is the popular pub and restaurant, The Waterfront; here you can take pleasure in delicious homemade food whilst watching a fabulous sunset. The main shopping area for West Wight is the town of Freshwater, a ten minute drive from the property. Here you will find a selection of shops and amenities. The hills above Freshwater are named after the Poet Laureate Alfred Lord Tennyson who lived near Freshwater for almost 40 years. Tennyson was no doubt inspired by the natural beauty that surrounded him on the Isle of Wight, and a visit here would not be complete without seeing some of the beauty for yourself. Be sure to take a walk along 1 of the many trails showcasing the dramatic coastal scenery, take pleasure in a cruise from close by Yarmouth and of course take some photos of the iconic Needles! The Needles Rocks and Lighthouse are located in Alum Bay, just five minutes' drive from the property. only above the Needles is Needles Park, home to a selection of rides, a chairlift to the beach and a sweet shop. Please note: This property cannot accept bookings with children under the age of twelve.
