Location The property is situated on the fringes of Godshill, a quintessential English village. Godshill is characterised by its picturesque thatched-roofed cottages, lovely medieval church and a winding main street lined with tearooms. The village itself is host to many attractions as well as the Model Village and The Old Smithy, a former blacksmiths forge, which is now a tearoom, gift shop and fashion boutique. Contributing to the village's old-world charm are numerous shops offering local crafts and produce, such as ciders, pickles, mustards and biscuits. There are also a handful of traditional pubs as well as The Taveners, a true country pub and restaurant passionate about using local produce. For a greater selection of amenities, Shanklin is just a five minute drive away. The town is famed for its fine weather, safe golden beach and the pretty Old Village.
