Arriving at the Pentland Ferries terminal in St. Margarets Hope. The journey to Kirkwall is approximately 15 miles. When leaving the ferry terminal follow the signs for Kirkwall. This road will take you out of St. Margarets Hope and across the four Churchill Barriers onto the Mainland. When you reach Kirkwall keep following the road which will bend to the left down the Holm Branch - A963. Continue for a mile down the hill along past the Balfour Hospital on your left and straight across the small roundabout. |
