Pitlochry is a beautiful Victorian resort, set amidst wooded mountains and boasting a wide range of attractions including the Festival Theatre, an excellent golf course and a fascinating hydro-electric power station with salmon ladder and exhibition. For the walker there are parks and a network of footpaths around the loch and river and into the countryside. It is well placed for wider touring.
