This is a great base for exploring the local area and a trip might involve a visit to the remarkable national trust gardens at Poolewe or south to the Torridon Estate Visitor Centre and Deer Museum. Families can mix relaxing lazy days with fun packed action days. There are many entertaining activities available locally as well as coastal and hill walking, pony trekking, water sports, boat hire and angling. Port Henderson is only 7 miles from the popular Highland village of Gairloch, which has a vibrant sea front that includes a pier with sea fishing facilities and a slipway for launching the boats. There is a golf course as well as pubs and shops. The apartment itself is a self-contained section of the owner's home with its own stairs and entrance. All rooms are light and friendly, tasteful and comfortably furnished. There are private grounds with outdoor garden furniture and private parking available for you should you need it. Inside you will find two double bedrooms, one with en suite shower room, open plan living / dining / kitchen and a bathroom. There are also two bed settees available, just in case. Cooking is powered by electricity and there is oil-fired central heating. You will have use of the fridge/freezer, automatic washing machine, microwave, television, DVD player, video and a high chair. Bed linen and towels are supplied as well.
