There are stunning views of Chew Valley lake from the gardens & it is located well away from roads. It has it's own private entrance - french doors opening onto it's own terrace/patio, surrounded by beautiful gardens and forestry. It is very peaceful and secluded. The flat can sleep upto 4 people, it has one double bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room. It has a fully equipped kitchen including a washing machine, a beautifully fitted, tiled wet room & separate toilet facilties/sink. The flat as been newly decorated and has a light airy and modern feel. There are superb country walks right on your door step - across the Mendips & in the surrounding villages of Chew Valley. Chew Valley Lake and Blagdon Lake are between 5 and 15 minutes away (by car) and are used by fishermen, bird watchers, dog walkers and other water pursuits - sailing included. There are several golfing facilities fairly close by, along with equestrian centres, rock climbing and caving. Cheddar Gorge, Wells, Bath and Bristol are all a short drive away (25 minutes max by car)

Local Area Description: Outside Outdoor terrace with newly created rockery, at rear through French Doors. The terrace sits nestled within the 6 acres of gardens and is bordered by forestry and fields. There is a table and seating provided for you to enjoy a relaxing glass of wine and outside dining in peace. There is ample parking on the large driveway for many cars. Chew Valley Lake is within 5/10 minute drive. Golf, horse riding, walking, sailing, fishing, bird watching, caving , rock-climbing all available within a ten minute drive or less. Travel: Bristol Airport - 13 miles or approximately 20 minutes by taxi. Distances: Wells, 6 miles. Bath 15 miles, Bristol 15 miles. Cheddar 6 miles. Further details: There are some great local restaurants and pubs in the area - The Pony & Trap in Stanton Wick/Chew Magna has an excellent reputation/menu. In Wells, you are spoiled for choice for places to eat. Local pubs include The Waldegrave Arms at East Harptree, The Castle of Comfort and The Kings Arms at Litton. They all serve a varied menu and real beer/ales. Booking notes: Changeover day is Saturday. 25% deposit on booking with balance required 6 weeks prior to date of stay. Woodland Walks at Minery House is a non-smoking environment. Quiet dogs can stay by prior arrangement.
