Crawfield Grange was originally built as a barn or steading and converted by the present owner's in 1989. Set in spectacular grounds with exceptional views to the sea guests are welcome to wander round and take pleasure in the tranquil location. Stonehaven is a five minute drive away where a large selection of shops restaurants and the pretty harbour and old town area can be explored. For those wishing just for a peaceful supper The Lairhillock Inn is just a three minute drive away and is an old coaching inn offering comfy and atmospheric surroundings whilst you take pleasure in the fine food and ale on offer. There are many activities in the area as well as places of historic interest as well as the world renowned Dunnottar castle. This truly is castle country and you will be spoiled for choice as to which ones to visit. If Malt Whisky is your passion you will find plenty of distilleries to sample.
