A new concept in providing luxury boutique style accommodation situated in the romantic village of Alloway the historic birth place of Rabbie Burns. 1 Alloway Retreat combines brilliant service withinnovative design in a laid back atmosphere and superbly situated ten minute walk to Alloway village and Burns Cottage. Brig a Doon House Hotel Scotlands premier wedding venue is a 1 minute drive from 1 Alloway Retreat. Our idea was to create boutique accommodation with friendly surroundings a vision which comes from lots of experiences from our travels around the world. Our luxury accommodation comprises of three delightful individually designed bedrooms ranging from our superior spa suite to delux doubles. Each room has all the refinements you would expect as well as goosedown duvets Egyptian cotton linen 32 LCD TV screens hairdryers (hairstraightners on request) iPod docking station and complimented with toiletries from au lait. Breakfast is served in our chic open planned lounge and dining area with morning newspapers. Overlooking the southfacing garden complimented with full wall to wall concertina doors which we open up in the summer months weather permitting onto raised southfacing patio perfect for an alfresco breakfast or evening drinks. We also have a designated ironing room available and free wifi internet access throughout. We offer a variety of cooked Scottish fayre breakfast with locally sourced free range ingredients pastries cereals and porridge.
