B&B Description
Beechwood is a 4 star B and B conveniently located between Aberaeron and New Quay in the small village of Llanarth. Extremely tastefully furnished to a high standard you will have a true Welsh welcome from the proprietors Margaret and Caradog. Wireless broadband is available in the house. Breakfast is served with local bacon and sausage and there is ample off road parking in the rear of the property. Beechwood has 3 comfy double bedrooms 2 ensuite and a family bedroom with a double and a single bed - all with TV and Tea and coffee making facilities - 2 of them are shown below. A cot is also available. At the rear there is a spacious landscaped patio with garden furniture for the benefit of the guests. The village shops are a short walk from Beechwood as is the popular Llanina Arms Pub and Restaurant. The pleasant Regency town of Aberaeron with its pretty harbour is only six miles to the north while the popular resort of New Quay is only 2 miles away with its Dylan Thomas Trail. Dylan stayed in New Quay and based quite a few characters in Under Milk Wood on local residents at the time. The film about Dylan Thomas The Edge of Love with Kiera Knightly and Sienna Miller was shot on position in New Quay in 2007. Llanarth is more or less midway between Cardigan Town in the south and Aberystwyth in the north. Both towns have busy shopping centres and are about a half hours drive away.

Beechwood house is very centrally situated just off the a487 5 minutes drive from New quay and 5 minutes drive from Aberaeron and 18 miles south of Aberystyth.There is public transport 2 min walk from the guest house which ill get you to Aberystyth which has a train station. |
