Ray and Jan welcome you to their home in this stunning Ceredigion valley. Ty Haf (Welsh for Summer House) is a lovely self-contained building set in a quarter of an acre of garden overlooking the Aeron Valley. It was built in 2008 as guest accommodation in the grounds of Tyglyn Lodge for family and friends to stay in peace and tranquillity yet with in 30 yards of the house. Red Kites are regularly seen from the garden and garden birds are in abundance throughout the year. Breakfast is served in the main house. Choose from Continental Full Welsh Breakfast with local produce or Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Egg. Use of Swim SpaSwimming Pool heated to 32. Five degrees all year round. In the Ty Haf garden there is a recently installed Swim Spa which is available for the use of guests. The Swim Spa is a amazing mix of swim and hot tub heated to at least 32 degrees to allow users to take pleasure in an energetic swim against jet streams similar to river or sea swimming and then to unwind in 1 of the hydrotherapy spa seats to relax. What more could you want after a day exploring the West Wales countryside picturesque local towns and villages. (Or only as exhilarating take a dip before breakfast!)The property is located only outside the village of Ciliau Aeron about half a mile off the main road with Aberaeron only four miles away and Lampeter nine miles. There are 2 hotels with restaurants in reasonable walking distance (Ty Mawr Mansion top class cuisine and good dining Ty Glyn Hotel fine quality and reasonable choice. Harbour Master Hotel or The Hive are only 2 excellent options in Aberaeron). Ty Haf is a no smoking property but smokers can use the garden. No dogs please. Access is along level slated garden paths which would not be suited to wheel chair users. There is a step down in to the garden area and step up in to the Ty Haf.
