At the White Rose, we are at the heart of the beautiful English Lake District. You can enjoy our warm hospitality, and the pretty en-suite bedrooms - all with those little extra touches that should ensure a really enjoyable stay. Our five cosy, en-suite bedrooms all have tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, an alarm clock radio and a colour TV. Guests are provided with keys so they have access to the house at all times. We have a great selection of touring maps and guides, and with our knowledge of the area, can help you with making the most of your time here. The traditional English breakfast is the popular choice in the morning, but we are only too happy to provide our guests with other options. The Lake offers many activities - sailing, cruising on one of the larger Lake steamers, waterskiing, rowing or just wandering around the Lake, admiring the views of the fells and mountains that surround the Lake. The other lakes are all within easy driving distance, along with the delights of the other Lakeland towns and villages.
