Millbank House accommodation is on the edge of peak District National Park set in the most magnificent countryside it is the ideal position to relax. It is also located close to the historic town of Wirksworth and its glorious art festival and its recently opened Ecclesbourne valley railway. We are a family managed Bed and Breakfast offering 2 tastefully furnished en-suite bedrooms 1 Double and 1 DoubleTwinFamily room with ultra comfy quality beds with Egyptian cotton bedding and pretty views from both bedrooms looking over 1 of the lakes. We are centrally located for many tourist attractions as well as Carsington water Matlock Ashbourne Dovedale Chatsworth House Bakewell Buxton Crich Tramway Museum five miles from Belper and ten miles from Derby. We also offer a tasty wholesome full English breakfast or delicious alternatives. There is also separate guests entrance and staircase. We have private off road parking available with space for cycle storage. There are a fine choice of pubs and restaurants close by.

Directions from Derby - Follow signs for the A6 sign posted to Matlock at Duffield traffic lights turn left onto the B5023 sign posted Wirksworth. Continue for approx 6 miles travelling straight on at crossroads at Turnditch and after 1 mile go through Idridgehay village and another 1 half miles Millbank House is on the left hand side well sign posted at the end of the drive. Directions from M1 - At M1 junction 28 take A38 to Ripley then A610to Ambergate. Turn left along A6 to Belper. |
