B&B Description
St Benedicts Byre was built approximately 120 years ago and was used as a milking parlour until 1999 when it was converted to become the stunning property it is today. 1 part of the property was used for housing the cattle in bad weather and the rest was the parlour itself. St Benedicts Byre benefits from an expansive well maintained garden which guests are more than welcome to utilise. The garden backs onto fields resulting in a picturesque countryside view in all directions. The rooms are all set into the roof area with sloping wood beams which were lovingly saved and restored from the original build when the renovation took place. As a result of the barn shaped building all the bedrooms are south facing and soak up the sun all day long. Around the back linking the house to the garden are three patio areas where you can take pleasure in a drink in the evening sun and as we are situated at the end of a farm lane the peace and peaceful makes it the ideal spot for a peaceful get away. In the morning you will be served a choice of continental or full english breakfast made from locally sourced organic produce. Weather permitting you can opt to eat outside and take pleasure in the fresh air whilst watching the lambs in the fields a ideal tranquil start to your day. In the heart of 1066 country there are many things to do in the local area not just are there many many renowned historical landmarks integral to the History of Britain there are many other activities in the local area.
