B&B Description
Located in the Clwydian Hills only above the village of Mold this guest house has free parking and free Wi-Fi. It dates back to the 18th century and still retains original stone walls and wood-burning stoves. All Rooms at Glan Llyn are en-suite and decorated to high standards. All have small fridgedrink cooler and tea and coffee-making facilities. Free WiFi. Breakfast is not included but you are welcome use our kitchen to prepare your own meals. The guest house is surrounded by seven acres of fields and is close to the Clwydian Hills a designated Area of exceptional Natural Beauty. This is a walkers paradise with miles of footpaths and recreational path at the door step. Cycling on and off road as well as angling and rock climbing are all activities possible in the area. A range of 18-hole golf courses are available near by. We have stables and grazing fields if you wish to come on holiday with your own horse. With unlimited off-roads riding on the doorstep we have put together a selection of our favorite routes for you to try ranging from five to 30 miles. In these a stop in a pub or at tea room are often possible. We can help you plan your route or we can offer you a guiding service for a small extra price. The property has secluded parking for car lorries and trailers. Please note we have a non -smoking policy. For the benefit of other guests we have a no pet policy. Chester is a 30-minute drive away with its Roman walls and range of shops. Glan Llyn is also only 45 minutes from Liverpool and Manchester.

From Mold High St follow the B5444 for 0.8 miles (Wrexham Rd) turn right and follow the signs for Nercwys 0.4 miles Turn right and follow signs for Nercwys Eryrys Quarry for 2 miles. Glan Llyn is the third house on the right after the post box underneath the conifers. |
