B&B Description
Chure House B and B in central Stow-on-the-Wold is with in the town conservation area. It is a minutes walk to the Town Square yet is extremely quietly situated. Chure House is a four star property graded by Visit Britain and has also been awarded a prestigious Silver Award for service hospitality and cleanliness. As from June 2011 free wi-fi internet access is available. The bedrooms are all furnished to a particularly high standard with new quality furnishings as well as pocket-sprung mattresses and seating with chairs and table. All rooms have a hospitality tray as well as cafetiere coffees a selection of teas digital freeview television central heating hair dryer clockradio and fluffy bath robes. All bedrooms have good-sized en-suites with fine lighting and Mira Excel showers. The Cavalier room also has a bath. Our breakfast is extensive using local farm shop old-styled cured bacon and home-made sausages. The produce we use is all fresh free-range and locally-sourced whenever possible. August onwards we use our own tomatoes from the vegetable garden. Vegetarians are catered for and any other dietary requirements. A sunny walled garden opening with French doors from the dining room has outdoor seating and umbrellas and is specially for guests use where you can sit peacefully and take pleasure in a book glass of wine or only soak up the sun. On-site car parking is available on request. Chure House has just 3 bedrooms so you are assured personal service. The proprietor Mrs Jill Barclay has previously owned award-winning hotels in Cornwall and on the South Coast of England.

From the A429 (Fosse Way) at the Unicorn traffic lights turn into Sheep Street. A short way down you will see Lloyds TSB carpark and Go-Stow the Tourist Information office on your left. Chure House is approximately 5 shops further down on the opposite side on your right and before Brewery Yard. It is down the drive between The Gallery and Cream Tea Room shops. There is a bollard on the road on the right-hand side just before the drive to Chure House You can park in Sheep Street. |
