This area of Secret Snowdonia provides guests a wide range of interests as well as over five miles of 1 of Britains few Blue Flag beaches. There are lots of castles and historic sites and visitor attractions as well as slate mines little trains of Wales Portmeirion and numerous and varied walks. There are peaceful lanes for cyclists and spectacular scenery all of which are on the doorstep or with in a short drive. The Old Farmhouse sits 350 feet above sea level and looks out over Cardigan Bay to the Llyn Peninsular in one acres of garden and originally dates from around 1600. It provides guests the traditional atmosphere of an old farmhouse but with the benefit of every contemporary convenience.

From Barmouth proceed northwards along the A496 for about 5 miles towards the village of Dyffryn Ardudwy. Proceed through the village past the Spar shop on the left past the Post Office on the right take the next sharp right hand turn with the brown tourist sign to The Old Farmhouse proceed up this lane and after aprox quarter mile it bears sharp left then take next right and follow this road past the houses for approx 400 yards we are at the very end of the lane. |
