John and Jill Lakeman welcome you to Salisbury their home city; Our friendly Bed and Breakfast is a recently redecorated family town house ideally located for visits to the Cathedral (15 minutes walk) the City Centre (2 mins walk) with its wide range of shops pubs bars and restaurants the Salisbury Playhouse the Odeon cinema. Not to mention the house just being hundred yards from Salisbury Arts Centre. If you are travelling on foot you will also find we are with in a short walk of the train station and bus station where Stonehenge tours depart from on a daily basis. If time is short and you want to get to know Salisbury and its history John will be delighted to give you a guided tour of Salisbury City Centre and Cathedral Close which lasts approximately 1 hour. It starts in Salisbury Market Square and ends at the historic Pheasant Inn opposite Number 64. Please ask for details. Ten per person. Get your day off to the ideal start with a hearty cooked breakfast which you can take pleasure in in the warm surroundings of our home. Our ingredients are locally sourced where possible and breakfast can be arranged at a time to suit you. For your evening meals you will find a wide range of restaurants cafes pubs takeaways and more all with in a stones throw of our front door. The property is equipped with 50mb wifi which is free for guest to use at any time and the property has brilliant phone signal on all networks so if you are visiting Salisbury for business purposes its not only our position that is ideal for you. As we have recently refurbished and redecorated Number 64 you will find the property is clean well kept and most of all cosy and warm ideal after a long day seeing the sites of historic Wiltshire. All room prices do not include breakfast which is charged at eight per head continental or English. We also have a small fold out bed or travel cot which can be added to make the room a triple as well as a child. This is charged at only ten per night. Please let us know in advance. Thanks.

Number 64 is a short drive from the Inner bypass (A36 dual carriageway). On reaching the St Marks Roundabout take the exit marked CITY CENTRE and follow the road alongside the dual carriageway (approx 200 yards) follow the road down Bourne Hill take the second turning left into St Edmunds Church Street.There is easy parking with a public Car Park opposite the house with CCTV surveillance. Free between 6.00pm and 8.00am - charges apply at all other times. |
