B&B Description
Our elegant C18th country house makes an ideal base for discovering the beautiful Wye Valley. Cardiff, Brecons, Cotswolds are about an hour away. Hay on Wye and Abergavenny both famous for literary and food festivals are also within an hours drive as are the historic cities of Hereford and Gloucester. Our B&B is between Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth. All bedrooms are beautifully appointed with antique furniture and en-suite facilities. There is a TV and hairdryer in your room and a good selection of teas and coffee. The guest lounge is an ideal place to unwind and relax in the evening. Alternatively,at the end of a day out and about, the terrace in our walled garden looks onto fields, Coppet Hill and catches the last rays of evening sun. Delicious breakfasts are prepared using local produce, homemade bread, muesli and preserves in our beamed dining room that has French doors leading to the garden. Please note children over 12yrs of age are welcomed but primarily we cater for adults. We look forward to meeting you and will do everything that we can to make your peaceful, relaxing stay with us memorable.

Situated in the village of Goodrich which is just off the A40 between Ross on Wye and Monmouth. Take the second turn into the village psssing the Cross Keys pub. Continue for approx. 400m and we are straight ahead of you. |

Local Area Description: The Wye Valley, Forest of Dean and the Welsh Border towns of the Brecons have so much to offer with walks through forests, alongside the river or over the brecons. There are many interesting villages and towns to explore and plenty of activities for those who are more energetic with superb golf courses, opportunities for fishing, riding, canoeing even abseiling!
