We are a family managed guest house located in Edinburghs stunning Southside. The area is well known for its stunning architecture and rich history as well as for its close proximity to the city centre universities and tourist attractions. We are situated on a main bus route allowing convenient travel to all parts of the city. We have a variety of rooms and can accommodate anything from single travellers to groups of up to twenty people. Our selection of large family rooms makes us the perfect choice for a family bunch. All our rooms are on the ground or on the first floor is a allowing easy access. All our rooms are en-suite with the exception of 1 double room which has external private facilities all these facilities were redecorated in 2009. Each room includes teacoffee facilities television and towels. There is free wifi access available in the communal part of the building and in most of the bedrooms. In addition to facilities inside the rooms we have secure private parking to the rear of the property available on a first come first served basis. We offer an extensive continental breakfast each morning. It is completely suitable for vegetarians and offers a refreshing and healthy start to your day. Most of our rooms face the back of the property from some of which the peak of Edinburghs extinct volcano can be seen- in addition to peaceful views of the prestigious Blacket Conservation area and our own private garden.

We are situated on a straight route from Princes Street (city centre). Take any of the following bus numbers (38729313747or 49) from the bridges (east end of Princes Street) and get off at the stop after the Minto Hotel. The guest house is just a few doors after. Alternatively it is possible to walk it (just over a mile). The Waverley train station also has an entrance from Princes Street. |
