Point House is a spacious traditional brick and flint farmhouse set in a peaceful single track lane less than half a mile from the Norfolk seafront perfectly situated for a vast selection of places of interest to visit and holiday activities in which to participate. The adjoining maze of winding lanes offer spectacular views and stunning wildlife for those who are keen on walking and biking and for those who prefer browsing the local shops we have 2 local well serviced towns that are both easily accessible less than ten minutes away by car. Numerous brochures of places of interest to visit are left for your use along with a large wall mounted map to help to ensure your daily outings are no longer than you anticipate!When we opened Point House for holiday letting we carefully considered the important ingredients of a successful holiday and we hope that the standard of the accommodation reflects upon the things that we ourselves consider to be important in the making of a homely comfy house with in which you can relax at your leisure. Our greeting pack consists of local produce and homemade jams the eggs are from our own chickens and there is a choice of seasonal home grown vegetables should you require them. For those who wish to catch their own food we can offer guests the chance to accompany a traditional Norfolk crab boat out to sea to haul in lobster and crab pots. We believe that we are the just Norfolk guest house who can offer this amazing opportunity for guests to sample true Norfolk angling life. Our accommodation comprises of a large farmhouse kitchen with quarry flooring (part of which is two hundred years old) which houses a large double oven range cooker and an assortment of equipment for your use 2 comfy reception rooms both with sofas and chairs and an remarkable 30 feet conservatory that overlooks our stunning landscaped gardens. Upstairs you will find three double bedrooms and 1 twin room. All of our bed linens and towels are pure cotton and our fine quality beds will be sure to assist with a fine nights sleep. There are 2 bathrooms with in the property. Our hot water system is solar-powered with boiler back up ensuring hot water 24 hours a day. For those who wish to visit during the autumn months our 2 large wood burners are guaranteed to keep the evening chills away in the event of full central heating not being necessary. Bookings are available for parties of up to eight persons or as few as 2 persons on either a self catering or a bed and breakfast basis depending on your requirements. Please do not hesitate to call us for availability or for last minute bookings. Please be aware that all payment is dealt with at the property on arrival in cash or cheque.
