Located only two miles SW of the renowned market town of Hexham Fairshaw Rigg is near many places of natural beauty and historic interest. Hadrians Wall is extremely close by together with numerous other Roman sites.

From A69 take Hexham exit at Roundabout.Follow main road into Hexham town centre over River Tyne and railway line then left at roundabout (near Waitrose).At next roundabout turn right go through Hexham Town Centre.At next traffic lights (not pedestrian lights) turn left to Allendale and Alston. Go up hill out of town about 1.5 miles to village of Lowgate there take right turn to Haydon Bridge.Fairshaw Rigg is 500 yards on right-hand side just after the national speed limit sign. |
