We are only a 5 minute walk to both Beadnell Bay and the beaches leading up to Seahouses a thriving holiday town which has regualr boat trips out to the legendary Farne Islands. The village of Beadnell has shops pubs restaurants to cater for most and has a most restful atmosphere. You are near to everywhere and far from nowhere with many of Northumberlands attractions only a short drive away such as Alnwick Castle and Gardens Bamburgh Castle Grace Darling Museum Holy Island The Farne Islands Scottish Borders Cheviot Hills. From the SouthFollow signs past Newcastle and continue North on the A1 following signs to Alnwick. After Alnwick you will come to a single lane stretch of the A1. Continue until you enter the next dual carriageway section (approx. 78 miles). Approximately 1 mile along this section turn right (Preston Tower and Ellingham). Go down this road for 2 miles until you come to a small T junction and turn left. Continue along this road for 3 miles and across the rail crossing at Chathill. |
