West Coates owned and personally run by Karen Brown who is a locally famous chef. West Coates is with in a five minute walk of the railway station (Main East coast Line) a day trip to Edinburgh in 45 minutes and a two minute car journey into the town centre or you can take a leisurely walk into town by the River Tweed. The stunning unspoilt coastline designated as an area of exceptional natural beauty together with the River Tweed and Cheviot Hills are all on our doorstep and combine to make this a most memorable destination.

The visitor to Berwick upon Tweed will find West Coates an brilliant base from which to visit a variety of interesting places in the region all year round. There are numerous local attractions as well as the renowned Border Abbeys historic Castles as well as Alnwick Bamburgh and Floors and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. Take a boat to the Farne Islands to see the puffins and seals.
